Molecular Imaging of Medical Devices

Knowing what chemistry is on the surface of a medical device (drug, excipients, contaminant…) is critical. Knowing how this material is distributed gives our clients the “edge”.

Mapping surface chemistry enables the following questions to be answered:

• Is a drug uniformly distributed across a device?
• Is the drug distribution with depth correct to deliver drug at the correct rate?
• Is contamination being trapped in distinct areas or features?
