Picture Rob Mitchell has recently published a paper on raw cotton fibres and associated materials. The work, undertaken in conjunction with The University of Manchester and Unilever Research, investigates the chemical composition of raw unscoured cotton by X-Ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS) and Time-of-Flight Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry (ToFSIMS).

Surface Chemical Analysis of Raw Cotton Fibres and Associated Materials is available in Cellulose (2005) Issue 12, pages 629-639.
