CSMA has been involved in several investigations for the automotive industry.
Investigations include, characterising novel coating, metallographic analysis of an engine part, failure analysis of a car part and analysis of a catastrophic outbreak of paint cratering.

Packaging Industry

CSMA investigated the failure of “tamper-proof” packaging of a pharmaceutical product and has also been involved in improving the integrity of baby-food packaging
